You are no one. What do you like to do, outside of school or work? Maybe it is photography, or gardening, or basketball. Now what do you actually do, outside of school or work? The discrepancy is the issue

Many people waste their time scrolling on phones instead of doing meaningful activities.
This habit makes us lose our sense of self and pride in real effort or activities.

How many of our leisure activities have been quietly subsumed by social scrolling or Netflix without us even noticing?

Perhaps we just don’t have the mental space or motivation to pick up that camera, to look out the paintbrush, or get our shoes on for a hike… or maybe we just lack the time required to do meaningful things. I know that I now struggle to watch my way through a whole 2 hour film without being distracted.

To save ourselves, we must stop passively consuming and start actively creating, or doing…
