We are just a combination of elements, that combine to make up the appearance of consciousness that results in behaviours and patterns we recognise as “myself”

Actions
– The easiest thing to control is our actions. actions are informed by thought. so controlling thought comes first
Thought patterns
– We can set boundaries to prevent bad thought patterns from entering our consciousness
Reflexes
– We can meditate and practice interrupting our default thought patterns
Habits
– We can nurture good habits and fight bad habits
Memories
– Memories are not “photographs”. Our memories are altered by perception and each time we replay them we edit them. So we can choose what vibe we give our memories.
Body state
– We can choose the environment we put ourselves in
Beliefs
– Possibly the hardest to change. But we can decide and change our beliefs by reading, and absorbing as many different viewpoints as possible to make informed beliefs.
Everything that makes up ‘me’ can be controlled and influenced, with practice everyday
